The MoCo review does not have any particular theme, but we love to see high-quality and well-thought submissions.

For all genres, we have genre specific editors that will undergo a proofreading and voting process. If you work receives enough "yes's", you will have made it in!

No at the moment! You can submit just once or up to a hundred times- it's all up to you. We are happy to review all work.

Join our team! Applications are open to all high school students of Montgomery County. See the dropdown menu under the 'About' tab to access editor applications. 

Twice a year! Volume I drops this December 2022, and Volume 2 will drop in June 2023.

Of course! Even if you aren't selected, for one issue, you are always welcome to submit again for the next. We love to see the creativity thrive in MoCo. Feel free to submit as much as you want, as many times as you want.

For now, The MoCo Review is only accepting submissions from MoCo residents, but you don't have to be a middle or high school student. We would love to see submissions from teachers, staff, local authors, and even elementary school students! In the future, as we grow as a literary magazine, we would like to consider opening up submissions to more people.

At the moment, no. You can access all publications for free under our "Issues" tab. However, if there is a high demand for physical copies, we can start fundraising and doing sales. 

Volume I will be made available on December 16, 2022 in PDF format. You can view it on this website, under the "Issues" tab.
